I remember a page in the BattleSpace book that depicted a fleet of spaceships. One of them looks exactly like the Exocruiser Wellington from the ExoSquad episode "The First Step". I honestly doubt that the US Copyright Office can find in three months a picture that may or may not look like another. Then again the FBI has computer technology that can visually ID someone so I don't know.

When did Battlespace come out? Early to mid 90s? The Fed is not there to police copyrights. If the owner of a CR has a problem with something someone else writes they bring it to a court. It isn't like issuing a patent or even a trademark where there is research involved.
