Post subject:  ?s about: indirectly vectored LRMs, parked vehicles, grounded DropShips -2 to-hit mod, artillery shots

Note that I am using TW, TO, SO, IO, and AToW rules. Also, I think xeither Field Manual Free Worlds League xor Field Manual Capellan Confederation xor Field Manual ComStar has rules for an advanced ability group or team that provides for artillery getting a -1 or -2 to-hit modifier. And note that the Fortress DropShip has a Long Tom Artillery System mounted on its fore side.

1, Given a grounded DropShip launches a shot of indirectly vectored LRMs rely on their guidance systems to vector along curved trajectory/trajectori via a spotter, am I correct that said LRMs can't make use of that grounded DropShip's -2 to-hit modifier for that attack because the LRMs are independent of that -2 to-hit modifier as soon as said LRMs' guidance systems indirectly vector said LRMs towards target?

2, Can a vehicle, that is parked inside a grounded DropShip, make use of that grounded DropShip's -2 to-hit modifier when attacking unless it's making an indirect LRM attack?

3, Can a vehicle, that is parked outside a grounded DropShip and said vehicle is parked on a ground hex, make use of -2 to-hit modifier when attacking unless it's making an indirect LRM attack?

4, Can an artillery system, that is mounted on a grounded DropShip, cummulatively make use of Blood Stalking -1 to-hit modifier (when using a global positioning system via sensors) and Weapon Specialist -2 to-hit modifier and that grounded DropShip's -2 to-hit modifier when attacking:

a, an offboard hex directly;

b, an onboard hex indirectly;

c, an onboard hex directly;

d, an offboard hex indirectly?

+0 Gunnery plus
-1 Blood Stalking plus
-2 Weapon Specialist plus
-2 grounded DropShip plus
-3 three turns of Core Sighting
+5 artillery system
+2 artillery system shot indirect or vectoring shot offboard equals
+1 total that must be rolled

5, What happens when a 2 is rolled using above list, does it:

a, the artillery system's shot lands in hex but does glancing blow's half damage?

b, the artillery system's shot scatters and does full damage or glancing blow's half damage?

6, For artillery cannons mounted on a DropShip:

+7 Gunnery plus
-1 Blood Stalking plus
-2 Weapon Specialist plus
-2 grounded DropShip plus
-3 three turns of Careful Aim
-4 artillery cannon
+1 artillery cannon shot indirect equals
-4 total that must be rolled

what happens when a 2 is rolled using above artillery cannon list, does it:

a, the artillery cannon's shot lands in targeted hex, but does glancing blow's half damage?

b, the artillery cannon's shot lands in targeted hex, but does full damage?

7, can artillery system weapon(s) (such as the Long Tom or Arrow IV launcher), that is or are mounted on the fore side of a spacecraft such as a Spheroid DropShuttle in space, attack target(s) in space?
