Post subject:  Warhammer vs two Clints.
Scenario:

WHM-7M‎ Warhammer (P4/G4)

vs

CLNT-2-3U Clint (P4/G4)
CLNT-2-3U Clint (P4/G4)

Terrain:

Small village
Light Forest
Tilled Fields

Can the Warhammer win or does it lose?

It partly depends on whether or not the Clint drivers are smart enough to separate themselves enough so the Warhammer can only shoot one at a time.

Assuming the stock boxed set map and reasonable competence by both players, I'd bet 3:2 odds on the Clints.

The Warhammer has enough firepower at short to medium range to KO a Clint in one volley, and the tonnage to crush them in melee. For the Clints, closing is not an option.

But the Warhammer can only face one direction at a time, and the Clints are much more maneuverable. Therefore they should split up and be constantly moving to dictate the range, making themselves difficult targets while looking for flank and back shots.

Conversely, the Warhammer should be maneuvering to keep the Clints in front, or at least not having a clear shot at its back, and it ideally should focus fire on one Clint for higher hopes of knocking it out quickly. If the Warhammer can guard its back well enough and long enough to turn the battle into one on one, then the Clints are in trouble.

You do cover things nicely though, I am hoping to try this out soon.
