Yeah, this is a silly one. But several people have wondered just how expensive a 'Mech can be, so I'm going to go with it. As some of the newer Level 3 stuff gets incredibly expensive, I'm going to have 3 contests, one for each rules Level. This one is for Level 1:

HIGHEST COST LEVEL 1 BATTLEMECH (Cost in C-Bills)

* Must be a BattleMech.

* Custom weapons and equipment are not allowed.

* Must be Inner Sphere technology base.

* Design must be made using HeavyMetal Pro.

* Must be a Level 1 design.

* As this is kind of a silly contest anyhow, I'm not going to limit the designs to something all that reasonable. The only thing I would say is that the design cannot have a bunch of the same, but relatively unusable, equipment. What's unusable? I'll decide. But in this case, at least, I'm not specifying a weapon or armor limit.

So, this is the most expensive so far. It also has the least armor. It is possible to further increase the cost simply by replacing a ton of armor with an additional medium laser, but I decided to call it quits with 9.5 t of armor left. It is already under heat sinked even for a 3025 design and less armor than a Cyclops is really saying something for an assault 'Mech.
BTW, exchanging all the armor for medium lasers and a small laser results in a cost of 11,767,834, just over half a million more.
