Yeah, this is a silly one. But several people have wondered just how expensive a 'Mech can be, so I'm going to go with it. As some of the newer Level 3 stuff gets incredibly expensive, I'm going to have 3 contests, one for each rules Level. This one is for Level 1:

HIGHEST COST LEVEL 2 BATTLEMECH (Cost in C-Bills)

* Must be a BattleMech.

* Custom weapons and equipment are not allowed.

* Can be Inner Sphere or Clan technology base.

* Design must be made using HeavyMetal Pro.

* Must be a Level 3 design.

* As this is kind of a silly contest anyhow, I'm not going to limit the designs to something all that reasonable. The only thing I would say is that the design cannot have a bunch of the same, but relatively unusable, equipment. What's unusable? I'll decide. But in this case, at least, I'm not specifying a weapon or armor limit.

Hmmm, not sure what changed between the original design and now, the stats are identical, but the cost has gone up a wee bit... We can stick with the original cost though.

That's why it's usually a good idea to upload the design to the User Submissions page. In fact, I thought that was a rule for the Contest forum; that way, I can load them and make sure it's not a typo or anything. ;-)

Yeah, HMP seems to be having a problem with the jump pack. I've added it to my list.

Seems rather silly to waste 5 crits on Laser Reflec armor, just to be none of it on the design. But then a design with no armor is rather silly, anyhow.

Hard to imagine anything more expensive than this, and while it's a stupid design, it's hard to imagine any design over 300 mil that wouldn't be. ;-)

Leon, how about "removing" Laser Reflec armor from this baby, since it doesn't have any anyhow, and it's confusing when it says it does, then add any fluff and credit yourself, and send it to me to post on my site.
