I have uploaded stat files for the DropShips and Small Craft from 2750, 3025, and 3057 now, meaning that the vast majority of DropShips and Small Craft are now available for use by anyone who wants to use them. We've played using the BF rules for DropShips and they are fun.

Stat files have been uploaded, as have PDFs with the cards in them for easy quick printing.

Note that these are built using the canon ship configurations known from TROs 2750, 3025, and 3057, NOT the 3057R stats..

I've now added the DropShips and Small Craft from TRO 3026R. Most of them made an appearance in TRO 3075 as well, so I don't have many more of them to do. And so far I have yet to see a DropShip design I can't fit on the card, so I'm happy with the card size. I'm still wondering if the Pocket WarShips will fit and really really hoping they will.

Anyways, soon I'll be on to the JumpShips. And then it will be the WarShip time.

I've now uploaded the 3067 DropShips, and let me tell you, those are some major updates of the ships. Assault DropShips (or Pocket WarShips as they are beginning to be called) that can scare even smaller WarShips, let alone other DropShips. These things are NASTY buggers. I really want to try them in a fight.

So anyways, they are up in card format, and as expected I really to squeeze to get some of those guys on the cards. But I've still managed to get every DropShip on a card. Here's crossing my fingers to see if I can get those in 3075 and 3085 onto the cards too.

I have now uploaded the DropShips and one JumpShip from TRO 3075.

Once again, they are powerful little buggers, even more so in some ways than those in TRO 3067, and once again capable of making smaller WarShips run for the hills. I like them. And once again, I somehow managed to get all of the stats on the cards. Some of them are pretty tight, every single DropShip I've made up so far as fitted on the cards. Whew. I was worried about the Pocket WarShips.

Anyways, that makes all Small Craft and all DropShips from all the TROs other than 3085 now available in card format.

Next up is the JumpShips and space stations.

I have now uploaded all of the space stations from the TROs, which is basically just those shown in TRO 3057 and the old DropShips and JumpShips. Yes, there is at least one more space station I know of, in another source book, but I've not gone into those books yet.

P.R.I. is shifting hosts in the next few days, so I won't be pushing up any more updates until that is done.

All of the TRO 3057 space ships have been uploaded fully, minus the fighters that WERE in 3057 but were NOT in 3057R.

Also, TRO 3057 Revised Lost WarShips have been added as well, in a way. The printed stats are more powerful than the Star League ships that replaced them and therefore I use downgraded stats that make the older ships less powerful. As I'm making these for my table, I will not bother making something I won't use. I hope you understand.

I also generated stats for a possible Dreadnought and Essex I destroyer, and extrapolated probably stats for the Riga Destroyer/Carrier for use on my table. You are free to use them if you wish as well.

The TRO 3067 WarShips have been uploaded and the PDF file has been updated with them in it. I hope you can put these to good use.

I have also uploaded the TRO 3075 WarShips, in the same way that I did the 3057 Revised ships. They are downgraded for my table so they are not better than the Star League designs that were built later.

Now I need to decide what to do next. I'm considering the vehicles, the fighters, or the new XTROS and of course 3085. And of course there are all of the units that have only been seen in sourcebooks. I big part of me wants to finish the Inner Sphere side of things and get all of the designs with stats for use for all of the printed TROs.

HeavyMetal Aero came with a lot of designs already in it upon release.

It did not of course come with designs that came out AFTER it was released.

I have recently decided to design all of the canon ships not seen yet and have pushed up all of the TROs not included in the original release. You can download them and play with them if you want, especially since a lot of them have not been released in PDF record sheet form yet. Note that some of them are a little tweaked as HMA follows the new AT2 rule that cap weapons can't be on DropShips, so I was forced to do the subcompact weapons as cap missiles. But they are all there and you can play with them.

TRO 3026 files have been uploaded. All canon, along with some of my own. I have not updated the PDF yet, as I just ran out of time.

And yes, this DOES mean that all units, from exoskeletons to vehicles to BattleMechs, to AeroSpace, to DropShips, to WarShips, from TRO 2750, TRO 3025, and TRO 3026, are uploaded in the new BattleForce stats, with all but the WarShips being the size of a standard trading card. I do hope you get a chance to enjoy them.

I have uploaded the PDF now that includes all of the units from both TRO 3026 and TRO 3026 Revised in one album.

Please note that there seems to be a bug in adobe reader when it comes to reading PDFs made from PNG files which are the base files for all of my images. It adds black bars and sometimes entire fields to the pictures when VIEWING the PDF. I use foxit reader and it does not add those odd artifacts to the files. The cards PRINT fine in either program, and this is tested across multiple machines.

Stuff like the Drones and Caspars in Terra, the Danais and Trojan in Blake Documents, and the Newgrange in 3076.

I recently found out in another thread here on CBT that the Mercury, Exterminator, and Crockett low-tech 'Mechs are not in 3039. And that was when the OCD side of my brain started saying I couldn't say that all of the TRO 'Mechs were shown in my files. And I tried to talk it out of its annoyance. It was only three 'Mechs after all. But my brain's rather stubborn.

So, I have added ALL of the Star League lowtech variants first published in TRO 3025 Revised onto the end of the TRO 3025 PDF. I have also added the datafiles to the TRO 2750 files as I prefer to keep the chassis all in one place. So, if you want to use the lowtech Star League 'Mechs, all of those are available here now.

I remember getting the pics from Vehicle Annex from you and one of the XTROs. There have been more XTROs since then.

I have now uploaded a file with the canon ProtoMech stats for all units in TRO 3060. The file includes the Prime configuration and variants 2 through 4, making this file include all of the currently known versions of the first run ProtoMechs. The files are in HeavyMetal Lite format.

If you use ProtoMechs in your games, I hope these files can be of use.

Please note that there are a small number of designs that have ProtoMech Myomer Booster. HML does not have that, and so neither do the designs here, though I do note the issue in the notes area.

And now I've done what I thought would take longer to do. The ProtoMechs from Combat Equipment and TRO 3075 have been uploaded. Now since there are no record sheets for anything beyond the Prime and 2, all the rest are by guess and by golly, based on the descriptions given in the TRO. I do hope you can get some use out of them as well.

Remember that these are for use in HeavyMetal Lite.

I have uploaded pilot cards using art from the BattleTech CCG now. That makes cards available that use MechWarrior Dark Age and the CCG now available. The cards are based on Kell's Strike Force cards, slightly modified to fit on a CCG-sized card like those that I use. These cards can be used for anything really, from standard BattleTech to QuickStrike, and anything in between. They all use official BattleTech art so far. I still intend to do cards with other art, but every time I turn around I see more BTech people art I want to use. We shall see how long it takes me to run out of such art.

HMVee and TRO 3075

I've finished designing the combat vehicles in TRO 3075, comparing the record sheets and the TRO to make the files in HMVee. The only one that required any "tweaking" was the WiGE because...well...HMVee can't do WiGEs. So I built it as a hovercraft and a put a note in the file that it is actually a WiGE. At least there is a record sheet to play with this way.

Note that on that same page you can find the BattleMechs from 3075 entered by Karagin and the spacecraft in 3075 entered by myself. I think that leaves just the BattleArmor to go before all of the combat equipment in TRO 3075 is done.

TRO 3075 meet HeavyMetal

I have entered (or verified and modified existing files gleaned from other projects) files that bring every combat unit in TRO 3075 to the HeavyMetal series of programs. That is every base BattleMech configuration, every known OmniMech configuration, the base vehicle configurations, and every known ProtoMech and BattleArmor configuration. There are no IndustrialMechs and no Support Vehicles in the files. If there is a call for them, I would be willing to add them as well.

In short, this brings TRO 3075 to HeavyMetal, so anyone who has these programs can print out the record sheets whenever they feel like it. I do hope you enjoy.

Say, Med: You have a version of the various 'Mech files, all in one subdirectory? I think I tried that myself, once, and I had to keep telling 7-Zip to not overwrite anything; The resulting file may or maynot have been missing something …

I do not have any files that have all of the files in them. I separate by TRO or book so you can choose which files you want to use.

HeavyMetal Updates
In recent months, I have performed a heavy upgrade on my HeavyMetal page. I have performed some reorganization on the datafiles for each program. I have also added the latest update posted for each program, and the custom eq files that make the Total War generation of equipment available for use in the HeavyMetal Programs. I have also added files that include the designs from TRO 3075, TRO 3085, TRO Prototypes, and the XTROs. This is a very major update that has taken a while to do. I did most of the designs from 3075 and 3085, sometimes using files created earlier by the MechWarrior Dark Age Record Sheets Team and by Karagin. Snake Eyes did the files for Prototypes and the XTROs. I do hope these files will prove useful to you.

HeavyMetal, MechCommander, and Random Pilots, (Sulu voice) Oh My...(/Sulu voice)
Snake Eyes has sent me some further files for TRO 3085 that I did not make in my initial pass, as well as sending me some updates of more designs from TRO Prototypes. These updates can be found for HeavyMetal Pro, HeavyMetal Aero, and HeavyMetal Vee. I hope you like these expanded options for using the canon designs with the HeavyMetal programs.
Also, thanks to Trace Coburn of the CBT forums, I have now added a story form of the MechCommander Opening Cinema to my website under the official fiction section of my creative page. I hope you enjoy this treatment of the original MechCommander game.
Finally, ralgith a.k.a. Dylan Myers has recently produced a new generator for randomizing pilots that can work on any operating system that can run php files. This Random Pilot Skills Generator is very cool and I really like it.

New Uploads to Celebrate the Happy New Year!
Happy New Year! I hope you all had a happy holiday season, a Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year, and all that jazz.

Now to celebrate for BattleTech, Snake Eyes has sent me more files for HeavyMetal Aero, and HeavyMetal Vee, gleaned from TRO 3085 Cutting Edge. As with the other TRO 3085 files, I have added them to the Snake Eyes versions to give credit where credit is due.

I have also added links and uploads for the two Java-based BattleMech designers that I know of. You can find QuickMech and Solaris Skunk Werks by following those links. SSW has of course been around for a while and is probably the most used free design program. QuickMech is very new, and is also a free program. I am very impressed by how quickly the author makes changes to make the program more usable for the end users.

New HeavyMetal Files
Snake Eyes has sent me three more files for HeavyMetal. An updated XTRO set for HeavyMetal BattleArmor and an updated XTRO set and a 3067U set for HeavyMetal Pro. HeavyMetal and the Free Worlds League of 3145
Snake Eyes has updated the HeavyMetal Pro to include most of the BattleMechs currently released in the 3145 series of TROs, including the Free Worlds League. He has done a real good job here and I hope you enjoy them.

Gencon, Facebook, and HeavyMetal, Oh My!
First off, I'm off to see the wizard at Gencon! Hope to see some of you there.

Secondly, I've got a Facebook page now. Yeah, it took me a while to make it, but sometimes even old grognards like me find a new leaf. I've been uploading old CG pictures I have in my archives that I like up there. There are lots of really good fan artists out there. Anyways, check me out if you are interested. hehehe. Thirldy, Snake Eyes has done it again, this time bringing the Lyran Commonwealth designs of TRO 3145 to both HeavyMetal Pro and HeavyMetal BattleArmor. He's also completely redone the TRO 3075 file for HeavyMetal Pro, updating it to the newest Catalyst version of the TRO, so you get to play with a bunch of new stuff they added in that book too.

Fourthly, I don't need the fourth. I have a Wookie. Have fun all, and seeya on the flipside of Gencon.
