They look like what to you?

I can almost see a Shadow Hawk, slumped over … :dunno:

The one the left looks like a Shadow Hawk and the one on the right looks like a Goliath...

cool designs, also i still think quads would technically make more sense...

the rockets seem to be the equivalent of one-shot tbolts. :D

the weapons list seems to be in conflict with the art
list: 1 88mm gun, 4 20mm guns
art: 1 large(88mm) 2 middle caliber(40mm?) 2 small caliber guns(20mm)

why do they use 88mm? the time when the movie is set is just shortly after the first modern field-cannon, the french 75mm, was introduced.
i would suggest that one, it is a tested design , as oposit to the 88mm.
has someone been influenced by the 88.millimetre hype about the german WWII AT-gun with that caliber?

Quads may make more sense to us but then it is a world where the Mecha is based on reverse engineering the martian tripods.

dont know much about the arnaments of the time though so i can't comment about that except that it is suppose to set like around the time world war 1 would have taken place, one trailer i saw you see the Red Baron's plane in it

88mm guns were also German Artillery weapons, they didn't become anti-tanks weapons till the battles in France, some testing before that in Poland and Spain showed the possibilities, but it took battles in France against Matilda tanks and heavier Char tanks for it be seen for the full usage.
