Aliens have invaded Earth, and while their superior military technology has given them the upper hand over humans, the rest of life on our planet is another matter entirely.

This is our starting point.

The alien soldier screams in the grip of a 20-foot python as his human guide grins. "What's wrong? He just wants to give you a hug!"

"Well, it's primitive," said the alien squad leader looking at the fishing boat. "But it should get us where we need to go, right?" The squad loaded up, and with help from the human crew to operate the "primitive" boat that the "advanced" aliens didn't understand, they were soon putting along the coast. One of the soldiers sitting on the fantail broke out his rations, and casually tossed his trash into the water behind the boat as he ate. A splash made him look up, just in time to jump back from the red maw lined with serrated triangles of white, open wide enough to take him whole. Frozen in surprise, unable to do anything but stare, the soldier slowly backed into the boat's cabin. The squad leader and human captain both looked concerned at the shocked soldier. "What's wrong?" Still locked in fear, the soldier simply turned his stare to them and replied, "We're going to need a bigger boat."

I imagine them to run into a young Warthog.
"It is harmless as it is Ugly"
Famous last words, when mother Warthog thinks it has to protect its young...

a colleague of mine walked along the mountainside with her german dachshund, when a cow thought the dog was a threat to its calf.
she was so stupid to take the dog up in her arms to protect it.
her injuries were such that she never returned to work before retiring a few jears later.
that was ONE cow.

birds that live in great flocks can easily take down an aircraft, if the aliens use aircraft that have air intakes they could have a problem.
Quote:
...and then the evil called bugs...
large swarms of bugs could explode in theory, like a cloud of coal dust. if the aliens try to defend against a swarm of moskitoes with energy weapons they might create a bug-explotion.

http://www.t-online.de/tv/webclips/spek ... oeten.html

the title means "Asiatic giant hornet can kill even humans"
in the comment it says it kills about 40 ppl each jear. and that is disliked by beekeepers because it eats bees.

the poison of vespidae is normally harmless to non-allergic ppl. aliens might react totally different.

The Honey badger would be nasty. Hippos too as their 6cm thick skins make them bullet resistant. However insects and humble bacteria would be the biggest killers. Some stinging plants would be nasty https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dendrocnide_moroides.
