From what I have see of this forum, two things are viewed with more disgust than anything else. I want to know which you abhor the most.

I hope this is not in poor taste. I am genuinely curious.

I picked the second one, because I never actually saw the man-faye, thank Blake. But I don't think that's really a fair choice; it's like getting to pick between having your arm broken or getting smacked in the jimmy with sledgehammer...

I'll let this post stand. But the first link to Man-Faye or anything else disgusting, and it gets deleted, okay?

Not that it's appropriate anywhere, but this /at least/ belongs in the off-topic forum.

Moved.

Sorry, Rick.

Lord Wolf, your profile says you were here long before the whole Flaming Hammer thing. I wasn't but I went back and read some of the old topics. If you missed that section of time, i suggest you go back and do the same.

I voted for Flaming Hammer, because he's been annoying me for years.

Man-Faye, however, causes my friends much agony, which is amusing to me. The best way to dilute my suffering is, of course, to find humor in the situation.

Or rejoice in others' suffering?

I voted Man-Faye. I can ignore a pain-in-the-behind poster but Man-Faye... :yikes: it still hurts to think about it.

I voted for the Spamming Flamer, because I think the way you guys overreact to Man-Faye is funny.

It wasn't that disgusting...

Seriously, now, do y'all realize this is the fourth thread (including the original posting) that focuses on Man-Faye? I think the reaction to it is so far out of proportion it's not even funny. Of course, I still find it amusing, but when are we gonna let this one lie?

You know, it wouldn't surprise me if the He/She/It of Many Names is Man-Faye.

Edit: I am kind of tempted to edit the poll to add in this option in there, but do not think that that is appropriate.

I voted Man Faye simply because that link has been the butt of so many recurring jokes. General Melissa Flaming Hammer etc. is highly reviled, but seldom mentioned (and best forgotten).

you don´t really want to know, but if can´t control your curiosity, just type man fye on google, or your favorite searching tool, and be prepared. You may blame Sheepy then :-P

The flaming thing, do a search forum for flaming hammer (or whatever is spelled). He was/is a poster who get famous because his interesting posts.

I just checked the Man-Faye site... The webmaster changed the content, and the new content has lost much of the impact of the original. I am disappointed. :(
