Well, sort of...

Haven't been around HMP forums in a long time.

Who is still around?

Thought I'd share these items as I plan on getting at least one of each myself. Note that the Wolverine will not be to scale at 55-tons as the "Blockhead" was a larger mech in the Dougram series.

Shadow Hawk

Griffin

Wolverine

Eh, who cares if it is to scale so long as it looks the business. It isn't like scale has been a huge concern in real BT Minis after all.

I care about scale actually...it is one of the reasons I don't own many new sculpts...they are just way too big for me...

Careful! Saying such things could get you a warning or ban at BT Forums!

You maybe pleasantly surprised to learn the Lu Wei Bing is more in-scale with the original Ral Partha minis, and from what I've seen so far looks very good.

Like someone came to their senses and decided to make a mini that would mostly fit in a hex while concentrating on proportions, scale, detail, etc.

Funny thing, well to me anyways, it is being derided as "too small".

Unfortunately, it costs $16.00+.

It will be interesting to see what the nu-seen or whatever the hell they are called now look like if they are ever made into minis.

Oh, I've been warned so many times at CBT it isn't even funny...

I question the orthodoxy you see and sometimes even dare to suggest that Catalyst is not always right.

Yes...the horror....

Yes, my latest offence is sarcastically that one of the "Thought Police" was contributing to the derailment of my thread and got warned for "attacking" him by one of the other Thought Police. My post which contained the observation and other items trying to steer it back on topic was deleted but the Thought Police's was allowed to remain.

It is certainly not the most enjoyable place to talk about BattleTech...

But Rick doesn't like people to slam other websites here so we probably should not stretch this (female dog) session out much longer.

;)

So...who likes pie? I like pie.

:toast:

I also like unseen...and these particular ones are some of my favorites...hehehe

pie is like the nectar of the gods for the soul...

And anyone who tries to take my pie soon learns just how quickly I can turn on them...;)

Glad to see I am not the sole voice in the wilderness on certain things. But since we are talking pie, I did hear a dirty joke once while working at BK back in high school working the closing shift when a possible drunk ordered a cherry pie...

Its beyond ridiculous.

Village Inn has an excellent Lemon Supreme Pie that I recall fondly when I was stationed at McConnell AFG in Kansas...

And unlike cake, the pie is never a lie.
