I posted some pictures of the Heroscape hexes in the Photo Gallery. I think that I may flock some of these hexes. I will post some more pictures if I actually do flock some. It takes me forever to actually do the things that I want to , so be patient with the flocking.

I have seen Stravag's Heroscape game and I must say that I am impressed. The tiles stack and connect easily. The one set Stavag has covers about as much area as two map sets, maybe bit more if all laid out in one layer.

The game costs about $35 but I'm thinking about getting one just for the hexes. I don't have much room in my home for terrain but I am bored with map sets, I think this will make a nice compromise.

They just came out. It is a Hasbro product $39.95 for the master set. and fixed "boosters" will be releasing in time for the holidays at about $12. Boosters are non-blind and they are supposed to contain more terrain pieces. I think that appx 4 master sets would make excelent cbt terrain. The stackable element makes nice level changes per the map sets. The Heroscape game itself is kind of fun (quick and easy miniatures rules. I think appx 8 year old target age range) and the plastic miniatures are pretty cool/high quality, but the price is pretty reasonable for the terrain alone.

Anyway they are just hitting the stores now. Wherever Hasbro is sold. I picked my set up at Fred Meyers. Be careful, a local gaming store here said that they would never carry this item, they just couldn't compete with the big stores but when I went back a week later, they had 3 copies priced at $69.95! Don't let yourself be gouged.
