Folks,

I posted this over at CBT, and I'll post it here, too. What I'm looking for is suggestions and favorites for Canon paint schemes which have significant green content. Green or green-and-something base, or lots of green details, or both. I'll be browsing through Camospecs also, but any suggestions would be appreciated.

4th Tau Ceti Rangers have a green scheme if memory serves.

Well... according to my (old) FM:CamoSpecs, these schemes have a lot or all green:

Syrtis Fusiliers
Oriente Hussars
Northwind Highlanders
Prosperinia Hussars (blue/green/blue in thirds)
Fusiliers of Oriente
Federated Suns Armored Cavalry
Ceti Hussars
Twelfth Star Guard

I'd suggest searching through the FM:CamoSpecs or, better yet, heading over to camospecs.com and having a look around.

Redfield's Renegades.

Mostly green with some red trim, pretty sure it's on Camo specs.

One of my friends said she missed painting things, and was considering picking up a couple of Lord of the Rings (Games Workshop) miniatures and painting them. I innocently pointed out that I have 30-50 minis just BEGGING to be painted, as long as she didn't object too strongly to tanks and giant robots instead of elves and orcs and probably a wizard or two. She said "Okay." However, she also expressed a preference for Green... So I'm gonna see if I can wean her on a canon unit.

Kinda like a gateway drug, y'know? First I get her painting green canon units... Then I get her to pick a faction and do up a lance or a company... Then I get her to come to a game to watch her minis in action...

Neko,
See my photo album or my website for the Redfield Renegades color sceme. I am particularly happy with the Guillotine.

For Greens, just about anything Capellan. Most of their units feature the base and/or hightlight colors.

For more go to www.camospecs.com and click on the Gallery, then click on the Capellan Confederation

True...they DO taste good with viper venom on top, and a dash of puppy tails.
