It's been a while since I've felt the familiar urge to kitbash tingling in my fingers ... a CARE package of new MW goodness from Sulla has fixed that!

For my first effort ... I love the Templar. I love the look of it, shouldering its way onto the page in TRO 3067. So I got the mini ... Such detail! Such Schwarzenegger torso and arms! Such ... Pee Wee Herman legs??

Face it - the stock legs are too small, and in such an incredibly static pose they simply couldn't be used. It's taken a while to find some new legs worthy of the glory that is the rest of the Templar ...

And here they are! Courtesy of the MW Raider. The upper legs had to be trimmed back to smoothness, and the strips layed on with polystytrene; I made up the feet with clay, to keep the "big shoe" look, which is now far less inappropriate with big legs. I've only primed it - yet to decide on a painscheme, but it won't be Davion Guard of any form - but had to share it.

Comments/critiques welcomed as always!

W.

The legs do look a lot better than the old Templar. The feet most of all.

Since the Tempy is based on the Awesome dont you that these would look god on that too ? Would also bring the Awesome up to its proper height.
