A long, long time ago, Ace Darkfire posted a picture of a 'Mech over on CBT.com which took my fancy. His Militaire was (IIRC) an 95 ton IS design, with paired LRM-15s, PPCs, and two MLs on each wrist. The design spoke a little of the blue alien from a Disney movie, but I liked it - and felt I could knock something up to match the illustration.

Well, nigh on 3 years later, I finally got there ...

As you can see, I had to take a few liberties - mainly relating to the LRM racks. I just couldn't find anything right-sized - I even sawed up the LRM launcher from a Thunder Stalliion, but the parts ended up too small. These ones, adapted from MW:DA pieces, are a little over-large, but I like to think I've captured the essential likeness of Ace's original design.

COmments actively sought, as always!
