I created this mini-diorama well over 5 years ago using metal mechs, a Javelin vs an Orion. I've tried to track down through the various site archives for that original post with no success.

The original story had a young House Kurita Mechwarrior named Shin Yodama falsely dishonored and discredited. He fled to SolarisVII to start a new life and to seek out those who were responsible for his fall from grace.

During a SolarisVII duel instead of a medium mech match up he found himself in a rigged death match against a much heavier opponent.

With nothing to lose, rather then give up........ Shin Yodama attacks !!!

Here is that scene now re-created and updated into the MW Universe for your enjoyment

Excellent dynamics, there, JE! I LOVE the pose on the Orion; very lifelike considering the circumstances. And while I've never liked the "ballerina" poses sometimes used to illustrate jumping/running 'Mechs, your "kung fu" pose on the Javelin is also great.

VERY nice work! :D

I never posted it to any forum. :o :o

I had entered it into one of the LOTB contests as an entry.

Damn !!....... it's horrible forgeting things......Scheesh !!

Many thanks to Cache, the Site Admin over on LOTB who located the correct link

Here is the original Shin Yodama diorama and storyline. Place your cursor over the photos and left click to enlarge the photos.

Well, I finally decided to sell off several of my custom creations on eBay. I think I have more customs now than I have original Ral Patha - IWM - WZ mechs in my various boxes.

"Shin Yodama" was sold to LordNth over on MWRealms who requested a base be made to showcase this mini-diorama.

The base is now completed, the figures can be removed from the base for game play if so needed. I'm packaging it up for transport but, I thought I'd show everyone how it looks before it's out of my hands forever.

They say memory is the second thing to go when you get old.
I don't remember what the first thing is.
