Amazing what one can do while watching footbal games on a weekend.......

I was attempting to kitbash a Hunchback IIC for my MW scaled units. I'll just accept this as a varient of that main mech type.

I also wanted to try a solid yellow paint scheme. WOOF !!....... I think I have to try again. Yellow and white are so hard to do and pull off.

Went with a light dusting of snow to represent one of the opposing forces to the winterized Vulture Mk XX in the other post.

All in all not too bad. I'll accept it as a test bed attempt for painting and for mimicing a MW scaled HB IIC

I don't think the colors look that bad, myself. Let's see, dual HAG 20's and an SRM-6...

i personally wouldn´t paint a mech yellow, unless they are meant to go on a parade. or if you would set the color to intimidate the enemy (like the von richthoven geschwader in WWI) but then id choose red. or maybe a red-black camo, much like the face of darth sidious.

other than that it doesn´t look bad.

Reminds me of the WW2 German camo painting on some of their MkIVs and Tigers and Panthers on the Eastern Front...nice job.

Think of it as mission camo for a desert or sulphur world, like Venus...

You mean Venus doesn't have lush jungles with dinosaurs and giant bugs and other exotic plantlife?

And no large breasted blond (or take your pick of haircolor) female humaniod to save from the Megasaur that is about eat her?

Damn it, now I am going to have to redo all of my planning for my next vacation.

Thanks....
