Well gang I just got the latest Huron Warrior casting from IWM and I am impressed. I have always liked the look of the warrior, I have a soft spot for Native American style/fashion. The New Warrior is an improvement over the old, in ease of assembly and detailing.

By making the arms join at the shoulder IWM fixed what I saw as a weak spot in the old version. The laser arm for my warrior always seemed to break off. There is more meat in the shoulder than on the old ball joint so those who like pinning will be able to do so with ease.

There was a light amount of flashing where the head dress almost meets the shoulder, but it is easily removed, with the exception of the small windo over the left shoulder. You will deffinitely need an exacto for that. Because of casting limitations the Huron Warrior has the ground rising to meet the lifted foot (like the Devastator), nothing a Dermel cannot remove, but it would be nice if IWM could (on future castings) give it undercuts to make the removal a little easier.

Once again IWM has put out a great remake of a cool mini.

10 on 2d6!

I got mine awhile back and I finally put it together, along with two new Battle Hawks, a FanTech Balck Lanner and a pair of Fox Armored Cars (the blister was supposed to be Huron Warrior). I like them. Now I am waiting for a decently warm day so I can go out and prime them all.
