Found this last weekend going through a friends junk as he was getting ready to move. The used to be a cigarette display and if you look at the top of the dome, it has a rod the is connected to an electric motors that spins it. To me, would make for a great radar or some type of display sign for a futuristc product. Either way, if finished right, it will look most cool on the tabletop
