The 43rd Elath Mercenary Air Unit is a top notch Merc Unit . Originally based on Elath III a tropical jungle world, the 43rd is now operating in Davion space.
It has already seen combat in 3 different Operational Areas against the WoB forces. They specialize in obtaining needed intelligence prior to a combat operation. All members of the 43rd are proven combat veterans of Davion-Steiner conflict and current operations against WOB forces.
Currently the 43rd consists of a ancient and battered Confederate Dropship converted into mobile hanger base, 3 aircraft, 1 UCAV and one mech. The 43rd is negotiating for the aquisition of a pair of Chaeronea fighters from out of one of the Clan Interdiction Zones. The 43rd is in the final stages of securing the contracts for 2 proven Mechwarriors and their light Recon mechs.
