You may have heard of these Solaris 'Mechs. I've always been big fans of them actually, ever since their introduction in Solaris. I liked how they looked too.

If you don't know, they used the original Japanese art of the Locust, Stinger, and Wasp. You can see the art from Japanese BattleTech here.

Anyways, I'm very unimpressed with the art used to "reseen" them in TRO 3055 Upgrade, and of course the IWM minis use that new artwork as the base, resulting in minis that I just don't care for at all.

I was wondering if I could interest anybody in making something akin to the original Koto, Tsunami, and Morpheus in miniature form.

:)

The Japanese Stalker was used as inspiration for this monster. You could probably do some mods to get the look you want.
As for the rest of them....nobody has ever been interested. Way too many fins and useless appendages to attract much interest from any of the sculpters.

That is cool. :)

As for all the bits and pieces, you can make the BattleMechs without all the fiddly bits and they still look just fine.

hentai here on HMP made me three Colossus 'Mechs that look amazing, even if they don't have all the fiddly bits on them :) Most interesting is that it was made all from IN PRINT IWM pieces.

Here is an example one that Lee "T-Bolt" Smith painted up for me.
