i see what you are up to, but i see one problem: when u have a three segment vehicle on top of wich u have a platform the platform can only be conected to the vehicle at one point, because the distance between the conection points would vary when the platform is connected at more than one point. maybe a solid conection at one segment of the vehicle(likely the second one), and one or more sliding supports elsewhere that take weight, but are no solid connections? the only problem left is that, when the supporting part moves down the platform still has to be supported somehow, maybe the supporting point could rest on a triangle, the base of wich is the frame of the vee, the other sides would be hydraulic cylinders. that would need a fast computer to avoid breaking, and then there is a problem when the vehicle is going round a curve, the support point would have to move sideways, in exactly the right time. hard to achieve, but possible. a fascinating piece of engineering that the service-crews would hate because every little problem with the control would mean repairs, then the complexity likely means lots of maintenance...
btw: when u want to make tha vee working within the rules the only way(i think) would be to give the single sections tracks, and go level 3, as a 200 ton tracked vehicle it could easyly move a one-hundred ton mech, and with xl-fusion engines and a supercharger it could go 2/3[4], but maybe it would be better to houserule it...
