going a little bit different route on the Fort. Gear doors are separate from the gear. That way the same doors are used for either the open or closed options.

A bit of artistic license thrown here. One of the bay doors services a whole company of Mechs, so I heightened one of the doors.

indeed, also the color of the last 3D lets it look like a lamp. but that does not matter on a WiP.

otoh: why not have one made from opaque plastic(just the top), stick in a few of those colorchangeing LEDs and sell it as a cool "spaceship-lamp"

Better yet, have all the hull plates to be polished and make it a disco ball dropper :)

that is a good idea...the disco ball has the advantage that it would have only flat surfaces...easy to make. the reflections would iritate the opforce :D
