Oh the lazy days of Summer....................

I tossed this one together today while I was sorting out the bins on my workbench.

Its like a nasty habit...........everytime I try to clean-up, parts just jump out at me.
If I were crazy, I suppose I'd hear little high pitched squeaky voices...................

This is a custom mixed orange/yellow enamel airbrushed over a red primer base coat.

It needs a name and stats. Perhaps I can include it in tomorrows game.

Just finished a quickie generic paint job to get it ready for tomorrows game.

Would you believe that the torso is a Re-Seen Marauder II. I rotated it downward 90 deg , then reversed it 180 deg , then I sliced off the nose so it would mate up with the legs.

This mech was reconditioned using parts from 2 different mechs. it utilized a warhammers body, and parts from the pheonix hawk for the head and torso. Traditional weapons from upgrades of both mechs where used. You have your rotary ac-5, and an ER PPC paired with an Large Pulse laser. With 5-8 speed this is a fast 70 tonner, and it does exceptionally well fighting anything in its weight class. If you want more weapons drop the speed to 4-6 and add some more punch.....

Ok JE, here you go. You didn't have another mech in the picture for me to be able to judge size off of, so I made it a 45 tonner. Don't have time to do a proper fluff right now, but look for it later in the design forum. Anyway, the Kappa wa designed after the FedCom incursion during the FCCW. Based on the DC Hitman,it incorporates a reverse engineered Davion TC and a Beagle Probe. It is 10 tons heavier than its parent, as well as slightly slower, but the addition of JJs helps offset the loss in speed.

I ran this generic mech in a game today. I ran a Clan mech 70 tons - ERPPC - SRM6 - LPL - 2MPL not too shabby...................

I'm going to do a Battle Rom post with storyline and photos.

Look over of the BT Fiction Thread, I think thats the most appropriate place to post a Battle Rom.

I think I'm just a so-so average painter. Some of the painters over on the LotB site make me look like the proverbial child smearing paint on the walls.

My true strength is in my ability to see disparate objects and assemble them into a coherent whole.

That any kit-bashed creation I make winds up looking like it was designed that way originally.

It truly is a custom kitbash.

Its stats are now derived from a standard Clan Omni, which I believe to be basic generic designs before allocating pod space.

Did you know that the legs came from a Transformer toy ??, the feet are from a Warhammer ?........
