an interesting way to do it woudl be to set each piece of equipment as tournament Rules or Advanced Rules...

and when you print a Sheet in the applet is a place to select Tournament or Advanced,
and if "Tournament" is selected, the BV rating of Non-Tournament/Advanced Equipment is left out and the Font for the Non-Tournament / Advanced equipment is set to Strikethrough or the equipment replaced with the closest Tournament Rules Piece of equipment
