==Overview:==
After the Magshot Gauss Rifle, which was originally used on the Infiltrator
Mk. II Battle Armor, was redesigned to be mounted on BattleMechs, a number of
companies were quick to make use of this new weapon on their light and medium
'Mechs, one such company, L.A.W., decided to use this new Magshot on the
Strider OmniMech, designated the SR1-OG, it mounts 4 of the new Magshot Gauss
Rifles, two in each arm, with a full ton of ammo per weapon, also a Medium
Laser is mounted in the center torso in the event that the Magshots run dry,
for anti-infantry use, the a Flamer is also mounted in the center torso just
below the Medium Laser, as an after-thought, a TAG is mounted in the head to
call in friendly artillery support.

Even with a standard Flamer I feel sorry for infantry against this thing. Against other opponents, well, that's a different story.

Very cool design, BTW. A good use of the Strider: as a PBI-cleanup machine.

It is hard to get much of a fighting design out of the Strider. The SHS just kill energy weapons, and you don't have the pods for much else.

Yes, they do, being an OmniMech, you would think that it would have DHS.
