How do you feel about 5 tons of ammo to feed two LBXs?

I think four tons is plenty for 2 LB-10Xs.

Interestink design though. :)

I agree that 4 tons is enough, but what would you do with another free ton, more armor?

You say that like it's a bad thing. :D

Oh, extra armor is definitely not a bad thing, I meant it as the armor was the obvious upgrade, but what else do you have:)

Depends on the mech. The only times I normally do 3+ tons of ammo per weapon are:

1. It has like, no real shots per ton (think AC/20, HGR, etc.)

2. ATM launchers (3 tons per launcher is nice for the variety)

3. Something designed around a single weapon (so you want to make sure you have the shots available).

I dunno. I just think 4 tons is a nice round number. :)

Nice for a long-time fight. Don't have to worry about running out of ammo any time soon. :)

Ammo explosions are the worry though...

If you have to worry about them, you've taken entirely too many hits, which means you have not been careful to keep them firing at something else.

;)

I have to agree with Medron, The HammerHands appears to have been designed around the LBX-10's. So having sufficient ammo for whatever happens would be a good I dea to me. And I would not be using this Mech up close and personal I would be using it in support of other closer units.
