Okay here is the first mech I made, once I took a crack at the construction rules, so this one has been around for a good number years. In fact next time I get the chance to play I am going to pull this one out and see what happens.

Very eclectic in the weapons selection, as a lot of your designs seem to be. Plenty of firepower up close, longer range is a bit lacking. Heat is a concern if you get tempted to alpha up close. It would definitely need some long range support, and some heat discipline by the pilot, to get the most out of it...

As I said, I made this one when I first figured out how to build mechs, wasn't hard but never got around to it for the first year of owning the game, something about the mechs in Battledroids box set and then the second edition that kept my brother and myself busy blasting away. So when I made this one, it was an attempt to cover all ranges, and bracket things, while still being seen as big and bad and tough...it did well enough for me.

And you are correct, one has to watch the heat, it will go boom if you play at the current alpha strike style a lot of players seem to like, I really hate how the computer game has allowed this to happen with next to nothing to counter it and it is ashame that it has made the cross over into the board game, and thus will hurt them.

If you have any ideas for weapon changes let me know.
