I think you are trying to do too much with 3025 tech. As a result it is woefully undersinked. I would suggest removing a large laser and/or the jump jets to address this.

It may be under skinned but that is because I am not going for anything tweaked or perfect or even balanced, I am going for here is a mech that got made to fill a contract, rushed out to help protect the FWL from it's enemies.

Interesting design, I like the "built-in" design faults very TRO3025-ish :toast: ,

Manufacture wise how about : Brigadier Corporation on Oliver ?.

Dave.

For more of a 3025 feel drop the ML for a MG and half a ton of ammo. Everything seemed to carry anti-infantry weapons, plus it adds to the boom boom factor. Face it, with the heat issues it will be once in a blue moon when you will get a chance to fire the ML anyway.

Even for 3020s the heat is an issue since you are matched up with a Rifleman as far as heat curve goes. I agree with av about dropping a LL. I really don't think you will loose any of that 3020s "build whatcha can" mentality, while gaining a good bit more usability. Even if a LL is replaced with a mix of HS, and MGs so it stayed a design with major flaws.

I like it and the thought behind it. Definately a scavenge era mech where most equipment was salvage especially if you were playing mercenary also the fluff was that production standards and quality control were so low that you couldn't rely on anything working and six medium laser on a mech meant you had a reasonable chance that some of them would work although not all at once.

Okay, so I am going to go with two versions of this one. Taking the suggestions given and working up some thing less heat intense as well as keeping the posted version as the first run prototype.
