Karagin,

Fast and simple. Reminds me (almost) of a Javelin. Eight loads per launcher with a spare for one. Good support weapons with range. This is more of a hit-and-run 'Mech or backstabber, as it still needs to get close to its target.

My failing with one bin units is I try to get as much utility out of that ton as I can. So I prefer 2 AC/5s for a 20-round bin or 2-4 SRM/2s for a 50-r0und bin.

The novelty of this design is you can throw 3 LRM/5s in where the SRM/4s are with 1-ton of ammo without a losing speed, armor or backup weapons. What you cannot do is substitute a single launcher for another without sacrificing one of those. But, in theory, you have a poor man's OmniMech.

John

Kar, good design, a simple variant would be to swap out the SRM4's for LRM5's (as ViperXTC has already pointed out), though that would take out the short range punch, the LRM variant could be produced as 1 in 4 or 1 in 8 production wise (?).

Dave.

Nice ideas for a variant using the LRM5. I will added it to my fluff. Thanks for the help and glad that you guys like the Scram.
