------------------------------------------------------------------------------
==Overview:==
Suge or Snake, is a fast attack infantry fighting vehicle offered for sale to
anyone with cash or goods to exchange of a value. The manufactor, Harmony Arms
Industries is not one to turn away custormers and given that they are willling
to take barterd goods of value for the is vehicle has rankled many of the
worlds they do business on. Some seeing this as nothing more then a front for
pirates and down on their luck mercs who have turned to piracy.

No matter what slander is tossed at HAI they keep on selling this and other
vehicles and light weight class mechs to any and all.

==Capabilities:==
Using nothing but off the shelf technology the Suge (Snake) has lived up to
it's name sake. It is in and out fast and has a deadly bit to it. The ability
to carry several platoons of infantry is a pulls, depending how the customer
configures their infantry is the limits on what can be carreid, but that is
not the concern of HAI.

The Suge has enough armor to shrug off most attacks but it is not built to
linger on the battlefield, get in and get out quick fast and in a hurry. That
is the sales pitch the reps of HAI tell and show their customers during arms
shows. And given that many merc untis have been hired by HAI to test the
equipment in operations to route out pirate nests, some have said these
operations are nothing more then attacks to get late payments from folks who
have fallen behind on paying for their weapons bought from HAI, have shown
endless hours of how effective the Suge is or can be.

==Variants:==
Many have been tried, if there is an idea of trying to fit something on the
platform many field modifactions have been tried over the years. No official
variant from HAI has been report or seen.

==Deployment==
Found mostly in the Periphery and Outer Sphere of know space the Suge is a
comon sight on many worlds being used by both the local military and police
forces as well as merc units.

six tons to experiment with...even without reducing the cargo capacity it can be upgraded to 2 ERML, and when a tank is required a LPL can be installed for the smaller lasers.

Indeed this one has the makings of an omni-vehicle.

I like the connection you made in the fluff with bartered goods and piracy. I have never really been keen on hovers but I do like it as a heavy APC, the Blizzard is a favorite, and I like this one too.

I like the Blizzard, too. But I don't use it as an APC. I strip out the turret and weapons systems, add medic equipment, and assign it to my MASH unit. Good speed, good cargo and virtually all terrain. Made sense, at least to me.

I think you could easily do the same thing to your ride, Karagin, at least as a variant or another Omni config.

John

That is a good variant to have.

When you absolutely, positively need to put six tons of ground pounders somewhere NOW...
