------------------------------------------------------------------------------
==Overview:==
The Hovet was never intended for mass production, it was Gorings Airwerks
prototype platform for testing new weapons, engines and design ideas. In fact
until the WoB invaded Knoughts Landing, Gorings Airwerks was just an average
aerospace company that had two main lines going making civilan VTOLs and short
range shuttle spaceships.

With the invasion and conquest by the WoB, things changed. Gorings Airwerks
began to push out military designs in place of civilian cargo VTOLs and their
shuttle line was militarized to allow for the needs of WoB.

Enter the Hovet, the original idea was for Gorings to make in-roads in to
military VTOLs by testing newer technology to see if they could attract
customers based on how well their civilan models did. Going with the idea
that their search and rescue VTOLs and light airplanes have seen use on
numerous worlds and sales had always been high, the next step felt by the
board was to move into the military side of things and gain from the sales,
but still focusing on their bread and butter. Thus began the GW MIL-TEC
Division.

When the WoB forces took control of Knoughts Landing they placed two of their
own on the board of directors and places the entire company under their
control with their own R&D and factory specialist added to the company to help
them along. Seeing that the Hovet was mostly finished and needed just fine
tuning the WoB went ahead and upgraded many of the basics and pushed it
through to finial production.

==Capabilities:==
The Hovet mixes high speed with a massive mid range punch, making the best of
things allows the pilot to barrel in and lock up the target, unleashing the
Blankenburg Divine Wrath Heavy PPC massive infusion of particle damage and
then come back around to do the same again. The draw back of one main weapon
limits the Hovet from knocking out most targets in one pass but working in
teams of two to four makes for an effective fighting team.

The secondary weapons on the Hovet are more of an after thought, the use of
the light Vickers machine guns are for engaging targets that do not warrant a
strike with the main weapon system. Also the WoB installing of the Hughes
Martin TelTalk C³ Slave Unit in place of the intended Beagle Probe, allows the
Hovet to act as fast strike recon bird. This addition as allowed WoB forces to
gain more tactical victories then should be warranted to them.

==Deployment==
Found in front line WoB units as wells in several mercenary units allied with
the WoB the Hovet has become common sight on many worlds during the Jihad.

The idea of a C3 spotting VTOL is nasty. I might have gone with a different weapon arrangement (no minimum range, so you can zoom right over an enemy and call in fire) and the XL engine is pricy, but it still works as you did it. Good concept.
