For the price you could have included a few other weapons to cover things a bit better...

Not a threat; just a very large, easily isolated target. Less armor, more guns.

He seems to like large targets that have the paper appearance of being UBER and yet not so great on the playing field.

I don't think the Tomahawk is any easier to isolate than other vehicles around that size. More guns is one way to go although the ICE frequently makes energy weapons impractical (or at the very least inefficient). I chose to go another route with endurance with a good supply of ammunition and armor. That extra weapon or two *might* spell the difference between victory or defeat but the same could be said for more ammunition and armor. YMMV.

I agree with the previous posters. You seem to be under the impression that simply piling armor onto a vehicle will increase its survivability in a linear fashion. I can assure you that this is most definitely not the case. This is due to the fact that armor does not protect a vehicle from being killed or disabled by critical hits, which are especially deadly to vehicles. So, yes, during the course of a normal game session it is possible that a vehicle like the one above might not have any of its very thick armor sections penetrated. However, it is also most likely that it will be dead anyway due to critical hits. Opinions may vary, but I never go with more than 14 or 15 tons of armor on any vehicle, and usually stay within 9-12 tons of armor for a main battle tank.

As for the rest of the design, I'm always a fan of extra ammo, but if you're going to be big and slow like this tank is then you have GOT to be able to outshoot the other guy. The Demolisher and Ontos are prime examples of this. Neither of them are that heavily armored, yet in a Level 1 battlefield they can account for themselves quite well due to a very high alpha-strike capability. With only a handful of weapons the tank above imply isn't that much of a threat.
