==Overview:==
Clan Snow Raven became concerned during the Jihad that many of their Star
League era warships had armor that was too thin with all the nukes flying
around. The Vincent was also singled out as having inadequate firepower
especially compared to all the pocket warships. Therefore a design study was
comissioned on how to upgrade their fleet. The Vincent along with the Lola and
the Essex were selected for extensive refits due to their huge cargo bays
which provided plenty of room to add new weapons and equipment.
==Capabilities:==
First the armour is improved beyond all recognition with the use of more than
300 tonnes of Lamellor Ferro-carbide armour. Then they added 16 Heavy PPC's in
hidden weapon ports
keeping all the original weapons as well. Finally Fighter capacity is
increased to a full Trinary. The electrical and heat distribution systems were
also radically upgraded to cope
with the increased load. This will prove a nasty surprise to any pocket
warships thinking they can scare off a Vincent protecting a convoy. It has
come in for some criticism for it's
light anti fighter armament but the designers feel the increased fighter
complement makes up for this.
