The first new jumpship design in the Federated Suns in centuries is breaking all the molds. Designed for endurance, ease off maintenance, crew comfort and the ability to defend itself, the Lone Star is revolutionary. With the rebuilding going on from the devastating Jihad it was decided by Challenge Systems to build these new shipyards deep in Federated Suns space so that distance itself would be an ally in keeping the shipyards out of future fighting. These new jumpships will slowly replace the aging Starlords currently in service and become the mainstay of the new Federated Suns merchant fleet.
