Just playing about with the program and ended up with the Swiftsure not really sure what you would classify it as.

==Overview:==
Originally designed as a destroyer the Type 52 was heavily modified to carry a
substantial number of Battle-Armour troops and nine platoons of standard
infantry along with twenty small craft which reduced the fighter complement to
twelve. The already high thrust was increased making it one of the fastest if
lightly armed warships in the Inner-Sphere.

==Capabilities:==
The speed of theSwiftsure makes easily capable of overtaking 
any dropship that would be available to pirates while its capital armament can
deal with some of the older pocket warships.
The two docking hardpoints are intended to carry an A-3 Overlord and a Unicorn
CV carrying forty aerospace fighters.
Twenty small craft are also carried probably to ferry the Battle-Armour and
standard infantry to the planetary surface should they be required for any
purpose by the world goverment.

==Deployment==
Currently only the Swiftsure is in service and patrols the periphery border
between the Filvelt Coalition and the shattered Taurian Concordat and the
Periphery March.

when the battle armors are intended as boarding-troops the speed makes sense.
just needs for a boarding-shuttle that is as fast as the ship

Checked out the Dante, Kyushu and Congress Frigates and it matches them in armour quite well but seriously undergunned but I suppose Frigate would be a good enough name for it as it would be good enough against the Mako Corvette and Mod97'Octopus' dropships.
NL-42 'Battle Taxi' is the ideal shuttle for this design as it had the same thrust and carries two squads of Battle Armour. Had forgotten about it until your post.
I think this ship might be more use to RPG players that Aerotech players.
