does not matter, a Parsec is a unit of distance, not time. thats like saying im 4 kiloparsecs old... |

It is 12...Han corrected her when Rey said 14... And yes...parsec is a measurement of distance, not time. The Kessel Run borders up against a nasty big black hole and Spice Runners would often try to run past Imperial cruisers by arcing closer to the black hole and using it to slingshot them past the Imperials. The closer you got to the black holes, the faster you went, and the less distance you had to travel. Han Solo doing the Kessel Run in 12 parsecs meant two things. 1) He had a really good ship with really good engines. 2) He was insane to try it because nobody survived getting that close to that black hole. |

Remember he always to risks, but I think he took them because he normally was in the position that he had no choice. |
