Karagin, how are you planning on using this suit? As a direct fire support suit for mixed infantry formations I like it. I could see a squad of Troopers, or even a single suit forming a rally point for other BA, or even standard PBI. The one thing I don't like is the lack of AP mounts or something like a Flamer/MG for close range anti-infantry work, but if it it is deployed in mixed units it really isn't an issue. |

I was thinking of using it more like a walking small tank, not much else it can do really. I could see it being used as you suggest, similar to the LMG guy in a squad and the other MG guys in a platoon, so that does have some merit. |

Yeah, a grenadier/anti-armor type role in a mixed unit. It works well from a mixed squad standpoint, but most people don't play games that way. Double stacked in a hex with standard, or jump infantry would be hard to dislodge. |

Why don't most play with mixed squads? It is more to how thing would be, I know this is a game and all, but overall it has been combined arms for a long time really. |

Many people I've played with don't want the housekeeping involved. When I deal with that I usually take a point/squad of two different suits and stack them together in a hex. So your trooper with a more anti-infantry, or missile based suit. In my head they are a mixed unit, but on paper two separate squads. |
