What if..? OK Alt. Universe setting (Thanks to CBT forums for the idea BTW). In 3025 inner sphere Battle Armor exists though no where near 'canon' tech levels.

No jump jets / quad BA / so armor type is 'prototype' only,
What do you think besides ...OH My God that is ***** :D

Interesting, I know that in an issue of Future Wars there was an article about Battlearmor or as they called it power armor, saying it was the poor mans Battlemech and it used all 3025 tech.

The Empire Class trooper I posted was taken from Star Date and used nothing but what was suppose to be SL tech prior to all of the stuff in TRO2750 coming out.

So the idea is plausible and worth looking into.

Thanks, I know the armor level might be low for some people's taste, but I would hate to be in 'mech, in a urban area if a unit (say as in canon 4) of these battle armor attack me especially Trooper C :suave:

Sorry, it should read:

Trooper D is the one they have to be more worried about then the others.

To expand on that it has the flamer, it as the remote sensor dispenser, nothing like walking by something and the enemy now knows you are there and the support PPC is not something to be taken lightly.

I don't know how different your timeline is, so I won't say anything about that. I could see these being used by third rate powers in the later decades. Everything from a home grown suit built in secret by the Regulans to a police/militia armor being locally produced in the FedSuns Outback, or even a line suit in the various Periphery realms.

Nice concept.
