They were supplied by Dave Hill and this was okayed by Bob Nichols. I should have all of the MFUK files, 'Mechs, vehicles and ProtoMechs. There were many in them that were publishing those in RS:Upgrades or repeating those which I could confirm came from MFNA, and those I've deleted once I made sure the originals (from RS:U or MNFA) were included.

There's a bunch of them!

MFUK did in total 18 Record Sheet Books inc. both Mechs & Vehicles , as well as Other Battletech Books , The RS Books covered bothe 'home grown' designs and designs from MFQuarterly and MFNA , so there were loads , the MFUK Upgrades were totally different from FASA's Upgrades though .

FYI, Dave, what I tried to do was include all MFUK designs that had designations different than any others (like MFNA, RS:Upgrades). If they were the same, I looked at both and tried to determine if they were intended to be the same design. If they were the same, and especially if I had access to the US source material, I considered that version as "official" for the purposes of HMPlus and deleted the MFUK version. If the MFUK version was obviously different, I made small changes to the Model (like adding a "-UK" or a "-1") to differentate it. I hope this works out well. I think it will.

I hadn't included any non-FASA pictures from any publications because there was no way i could obtain permission from the artists. If you're the artist, then I could probably include those. They wouldn't be in the first releases, but could be added later.

Now I need to work out which of my creations are in there

The MechForce UK data files are now posted on the Official Updates page of my web site. Please note that any for which I also had the original MechForce North America data files, and which I was convinced were intended to be the same, I kept them in the MFNA files and eliminated them from the MNUK files.

OK Rick.

I have reviewd the MFUK files and can give you the art for the following (i.e. I was the artist)

Avenger
Bearcub
Centurion (Yen-Lo-Wang)
Claymore (modified Highlander)
Lone Wolf (Dire Wolf config)
Great Bird (don't ask)
Jabberwocky
Mangonel
Sidewinder
Woodsman
Wolfhound IIC 3

Now I have to boil those pics down into something you can use - or do you want the raw images? - then you cna boil them down into something you can use

I usually use JPGs with compression that reduces the size but still looks decent, and resize if necessary to no more than 600x600, figuring that is as good as it needs to be for the pictures printed in HMPro.

I can do that, or you can, which would reduce bandwidth plus give you more control of your artwork. You can email them to me, zipped up please, and you may also want to post them on the images page for those who already will have the program.

You want the fluff text too?

I should be able to find fragments of what I submitted to MFUK.

Failing that, there is always the improved/updated/edited material (some of these designs were sent in to MFUK over ten years ago s0 I have tinkered with the text some).

It would be nice to have the fluff. Almost all of the MFUK designs have none. I just added a reference as to where they were published. That's one reason I moved some from MFUK to MFNA listing, where I had the MFNA publications and could enter the fluff from them myself.

Well, everything I ever sent to MFUK had fluff.

Some was printed.

Most were not.

I think Bob's dog eat it or something.

Oh by the way - I noticed that the MFUK shees had two files. Fox Fire FOX-1X and Fire Fox FOX-1X. Unles the Fire Fox is something differnt, it looks like the same file has been saved with the wrong name.

The Fox Fire was published in the MFUK scenario book McKinnon's Raiders, the later in the record sheets.

Overacheiver - Me?

Add the Wolverine WVR-6SL to the list too, although it should be the Wolverine II.

Artwork may be sufficiently different to get around the Unseen/Not Named issue...

What exactly is the problem? Are you getting an error? Perhaps if you compress and send them as an attachemnt.

Comes up something like /error 14 can not create file/ - need to take a note of it, but I am on a different computer and don't have my pics to try right now.

I have put hings up before with no problem, but that was the old setup.

Sounds like they ae not set correct. If this is a new system then may need to change all of the settings. What are you compressing with. Winzip?
