Okay I know I am missing the forest because of the trees with this one, but can someone help with using the Armored Component in HMPro?

Kar, set tech level 3, on Distrubation screen right click on 'wanted item' and the armoured componant is on the 'right click'.

Okay maybe I am still not doing something right...playing around with the Davion TRO mechs, one of them calls for an armored gyro that is compact, uhmm okay yet HMPro won't let me armor it. In fact I can't the armored component to work on the file at all. I am using the "custom" new weapons from the new rule books and yet nothing is allowing me to add the armored component to it.

I guess the rules have changed, Reactive armor and armored components do not work together currently in HMPro...

Unfortunately HMPro5 is behind in the (new) rule book stakes, and various items we now have are not in HMPro5 - & I do not just mean weapons, so I guess we will have to wait upon HMPro6 when it comes out, I know it 'sucks' but I'm going to wait for a programme I like.

You are correct, I just imputted the same design as soon as I switched to Reactive armour I lost the armoured components & I notice that the endo composite structure @ 7.5 tons is only showing up as 5 tons and the 7 crit spaces for it are not shown on the dist. screen very strange. Any Ideas ?.

Well since reactive armor doesn't change any of the weights of the armor the mech carries, I say HM Pencil for adding it in it. The same could be done for the Armored Components.

With out the Armored Components I have the mech coming up 6 tons shy of the 100 it should be. With the components armored and adding reactive in via pencil mk2, I am still 3.5 tons shy of the weight...really think they should have tested the changes more before they started tossing out new rules books...

That is correct. The previous rules did not allow armored components except when using standard armor.

Endo Composite Structure is a new piece of equipment and is not in HMPro.

This is as close as I can get with HMPro. I put the Endo Steel crits where the Reactive Armor should be, all the "roll again" slots should be Endo Composite. I think the BV 2 should be 3,330 I need to check again after some sleep :zzz:
