.....I have a design inner sphere tech with an armoured component (cockpit), when I switch to level 3 mixed tech - all inner sphere except armor & heat sinks Clan buttons ticked, I loose the opition to have armoured components at all, is this something other people have noticed ?, or is my HMPro acting out ?,

Thanks.

Dave.

Works ok for me, I would guess your design has some other armor than standard in which case HMPro will not let you have armored components, something to do with the wording in Maximum Tech.

Yep, it has Clan Ferro-Fibrous Armor, which HMPro allows me to add but then stops me adding the armored components Cockpit, the dist, screen drop down is greyed out.

Yeah I ran into this a while back.

I think MaxTech did prevent you from armoring components if you were mounting non-standard armor, but it seems that is no longer the case in the current edition of rules.

Thanks, it's what I suspected, a rule change rather than HMPro @ fault. I guess we will have to wait untill HMPro6 for this to work.
Fair Play.

Dave.
