Rick,

When I try to save a new frame or hull type to HM Aero Cont+ will add the new frame/hull into the dropdown. But when I close the Manufacturer Screen and re-open it, the saved frame/hull is gone. The program is not updating the frame.txt.

I am currently manually adding the frame/hulls to the frame.txt file, which works, but this is going the long way around. Is there a way for me to fix this or will this require a patch?

John

First (and I assume you're using Vista or Windows 7), make sure you're running the program as an Administrator. Currently, the HM programs save the INI files, etc. to the Program Files directory. Vista and Win7 doesn't like that, unless you're an admin.

Rick,

No, I'm still running XP sp3. I should also mention that all the other tech txt files appear -for now- to be updating with the CONT+ function. And HM Aero is up to date with v1.06 R07.

Rick,

I hope not. CONT+ transfers the Frame/Hull to the dropdown, but does not save it to the Frame.txt file. And it works and saves with all the other manufacturing .txt files. Just not the frame.txt file.

To save the Frame/Hull, I have to open the frame.txt and manually insert (copy/paste) the name and save the file. I even need to close and re-open the Manufacturing window to use the saved frame.txt file.

Am I missing something?

John
