Okay, so some of the files in HMVee have a Negative Adjustment in the Cargo section labeled "Correction to make record sheet". (See the Skimmer file)
But every time I try to do this I'm getting an error saying "Equipment can not have negative tons".
So how do I make this work?

PS. I'm doing this to create Fuel Cell Engine designs from ICE models.

Rick took that "feature" out years ago: You are looking at some of the oldest HMV files eva.

As for what you are trying to do: Build it with a Light Fusion, then go look up what the engine should have weighed, and add some penalty tonnage.

Remember that a Cell only has one HS, so you might have to add in some of those, too.

Here: Remember to go back and adjust the price tag.

Really, dang, that would have been so very useful.

Yeah, that is what I am doing, just thought the ICE + Neg Adjustment would provide a much more accurate look at the design.

Yeah, I know, perfect for.........nothing....hehe.
Actually in one of your links your using it for a Gauss it says ?
Does a Gauss need extra gear for a Fuel Cell engine ?

Er: That's a house rule of mine: Gauss move there ammo with energy, ergo they need amps and heat sinks like lasers, IMAO. That Bec De Corbin (or whatever I called it) is actually a Heavy Gauss, which as Warclaw pointed out, is supposed to require a fusion engine to work atoll.

But other then that, as per TW/ TM, a Gauss is just another AC …

Ah, ok.
I thought maybe I had missed something in the rules somewhere.
