I'm trying to use HMP to design a record sheet for this mech, but I'm running into a problem.

The TRO in the magazine doesn't indicate the number of heatsinks, however the math works out to 5, which is validated by HMP as it indicates that 5 heatsinks are included on the engine. However, HMP is FORCING Me to include 5 additional heatsinks (for a total of 10). This is messing up the entire design.

How do I fix this?

If it doesn't say how many heat sinks there are, what math are you using to determine there are 5? Actually, I've done the FLE-14 from BT mag, and include it with HMPlus. I'll attach the file here, as well. It has 10 heat sinks, 5 of which are within the engine. The extra 5 take no tonnage and only 5 crits, and as this thing is just about completely empty (1 ML and 3 JJ crits in the entire design, other than the HS), there is absolutely no problem including them.
