I'm trying to create a map that's 85 hexes by 55 hexes, but can't seem to figure out how to do that.

Do I have to make a bunch of 17 hex by 15 hex maps and put them together or is there an option to make them larger?

Kind of. The basic map size in HMMap is limited to the standard BT size. Then, you can create an combined image of 1-4 maps (1 map, 1x2, 2x1 or 2x2) giving you an image that is exactly four times the area of a standard map. To go bigger than that, you'll have to combine the created images with a Paint program.

Any chance of an enhancement whereby you can specify the number of hexes high and wide?

No, I'm afraid not. I have some limitations in development, and with HMMap, it was the size of virtual picture that computers can handle at one time. We did testing, and found out what that was (more or less), then that was determined as the maximum number of pixels that the total map could be, and in turn, the pixels per hex, which determined the resolution. Sure, there's probably a way, but not a practical way, for me, at least. Sorry.

No worries. I work with what I got! :)

Starting building my 3D figure 8 race track using a map generated from HMMap tonight. I'll share a photo when map #1 is done. Love the way it's looking so far. But I'm an amateur, so take that for what it's worth.

I think I broke HMMap....designing caverns maps that may eventually go to 3D the program asked "Are you serious?".

OK, it really didn't. But it would have if it could.
