Due to a senior moment (I save a 'custom' 'Mech design as the 'Default' 'Mech file..... :embarrased: ) I need the Default 'Blank' 'Mech file for HMPro, Any clue if I can find it anywhere Please ?.

Many Thanks .... Head hung in Shame :embarrased:

Dave.

The Default 'Mech is normally saved in the main HMPro directory (say c:\Program File (sx86)\HeavyMetal\Pro, and the name of the file is Untitled (no extension). If it does not exist, then the file is automatically recreated using the default settings. When you do a Save As > Default 'Mech, a new file is created with the current configuration, thus allowing you to make your default a Level 3 Clan 'Mech instead of a Level 1 IS 'Mech (or whatever).

However - if you are not running HMPro as an Administrator, Windows will hide this file any time it is changed, leaving the original in the above directory, and putting the replacement in a really screwy place under your profile. Like it does custom weapons files, or for that matter, saved or changed files in the \Mechs folder. Windows just does NOT like you to save stuff in your programs folders, despite the fact that I think it's more logical (they didn't ask me). So, if you're looking for that hidden file, and you REALLY need to find it, let me know and I'll look up the directory. Or you can just search for "Untitled" on your program's hard drive.

Hope this helps.
