Does anyone(Rick?) have mech files for the mechs from the 1728 Record Sheet Upgrades? I have it myself but haven't gotten around to making the files (ok I'm lazy)

Yes, I have all the files for Record Sheets: Upgrades. They will be included in HeavyMetal Plus, and I'll also post them, along with the other standard 'Mechs, on my web site once I get a chance (a week or two, the way things are going).

FYI: While I'm sure the RS:Upgrades files on the Flames of Vengence site are great, they do not include any fluff or manufacturer information, so you may want to download them again once I have them posted.

The reason the Flames Of Vengence files don't have any Fluff data is that none of my guys bother putting it in the 'Mech records they do for the site. They don't see the point as they have the TRO's if they want that.

Personally I always try to put it in any I create and include pics as well if I can but I haven't done most of them.

Heres another question along the same vein, will you be adding the Mechs from the Battletechnology magazine ?

I don't have copies of BattleTechnology magazine, however others who have have added some designs from them, and they're included with HMPlus. I forget how many, but a good number. There are also designs from Mech Magazine, MechForce Quarterly (NA), The Tech Factory, The Mech Factory, Future Wars I think, quite a few.

And I'd be happy to add any and all that aren't already there. I'm trying to make HMPlus just as complete as I possibly can.

I've got all the Battletechnolgoy Issues... but allot of their designs weren't right. Once I get my suite, I'll go through and see what you missed Rick.

Oh and I have a Challenge(r?) magazine somewhere with a quad/biped scout mech in it. I'll see if I can dig it up.

Thanks Rick,

Question, do any of these Mechs have pictures. I downloaded a bunch, and my players are already asking what the hell do some of these Mechs look like.

HeavyMetal Plus includes a bunch of pictures. Over 500 of them. It doesn't include any Unseen, as I am prevented legally from including them, but someone will be having those available for you.

While I have posted all of the 'Mech designs included with HMPlus on my web site for download, no pictures are included. In fact, even with HMPlus, the pictures are just put in a directory for use, they aren't already linked to the 'Mechs for a variety of reasons. (Well, the ProtoMechs are, but the rest aren't.) It is just not practical for me to include all of the pictures on the web site for download. If they're important to you, I think the extra cost for HMPlus is well worth the money. Or you can download them off of various Internet sites, or scan and clean them up yourself. You have choices!

At this point, no. I can't include any pictures which have been copyrighted (drawn) by someone other than FASA, unless I have specific permission from the artist. (It's nice being the "official" BattleTech design software, but it also imposes limitations.) That wasn't possible, although MacAttack indicated he might send me some designs (and permission to use them) that are in the MFUK books.

Good point. I use the picture to show them what they may see but usually use the ones like Rick has provided if they want the schematics.

I am working on it. I was going to post here on the user submitted files, but it would not let me

Failing that, I will get them all together and send then to Rick and lie/him/ post them up

Must try and get them sorted out this week-end

Well I sent the images to you, along with a list of what 'Mechs they are for.

Still some more to dig out, but not many.

The fun starts with the fluff

Does that include the Victor Music Inc pictures?

AKA the IICs (of which we know the losmechs are gone) and the second line 'Mechs like the Vixen?

MFUK Pics.

Rick, It may be some time before I track down the other but of artwork. I am half way through pulling a PC apart, so my scanner is not up.

Best to post with what you have as I am going to have to dig through my archives for the fluff and stuff.

The 10 pics that Mac has sent are now posted on the Updates page for download. They are toward the bottom, after all the 'Mechs, vehicles and ProtoMechs.

Medron, the IIC 'Mechs are all Unseen, and I've not included them, although I think they're posted on your site. The only design I am positive that was done by Victor Musical was the Stone Rhino (Behemoth), and for my/FASA purposes, it is also considered Unseen.
