like: vtols. hovercrafts etc.light mechs, medium mechs etc. fighters dropships etc. custom weapons etc.
104 pages in one forum is too much.much too much.

Sounds like an idea. Unfortunately, while I'm not a programmer, I still shudder at what kind of coding problems would arise(I'm not saying I'm against the idea, rather that would be the only problem I could see arising). I would have to wait for Rick to give an official answer.

It's fairly easy to add forums.

That being said I don't see a reason to do it. The number of threads won't change, just their location. And as a quick scan of that forum shows that each title is pretty easily identifiable as to the type of unit the thread is about I see even less reason to do it.

I agree with Chi. 104 pages just means there have been lots of people posting. Spreading those over multiple forums would make it harder to find things, I believe, not easier.

that depends on what you are looking for.

if your looking for a light mech a separation would help.
if your looking for a recon vehicle it wouldnt help much.
browsing the ideas it wouldnt make a difference at all.

and someone would have to sort all past entries.
so your right, and its your forum after all.

Not really. All that does is keep folks jumping from fourm to fourm.

Some sites have it set up that there is a fourm for vehicles and BA all grouped together, then one for mechs, one for aero and that is it. 3 boards in side of one. But each board is different and that is what gives each BT webpage it's community and it's character.

I say stay with what we have and maybe come up with Tags that can be checked to let folks know it's a mech, vehicle, aero etc...
