the off-topic area is full of fun and not very serious stuff, wile obituarys are the exact oposite: a serious matter that demands our respect, even if we remember the deceased as a comedian. i therefore sugest to ad a seperate area where obituarys could be posted in a more apropriate surrounding.
i suggest to name it the graveyard.

The "off topic" forum is exactly what it says it is--a forum for topics unrelated to Battletech.

Posting threads about people that are unrelated to Battletech, by definition, belong in "off topic".

I concur. An extra "graveyard" forum really isn't required, since the obits don't always get posted anyways.

I agree as well, but I do appreciate the suggestion. While some topics are all about fun, the obits have almost always been very respectful. I don't think it's the subforum that determines whether proper respect is paid, but rather the topics themselves.
