Okay, I have to delete the cookies from the board to log back in each time I want to log in.

I have typed in my user name, password, checked the box about the site remembering the info and so far since yesterday, I have had to maunally remove the cookie and folder the cookie is in to be able to get back on the boards.

Is anyone else having this issue?

Very strange.

No issues here; everything is working fine for me, and I'm automatically logged in on every visit.

You posted the same issue on Mordel's, so I presume it's on your end...

I am not sure but here and Mordel's are the only two sites I am having issues with...I am trying to figure out, plus it gives a me chance to figure out Win7 and all the fun of a new system...

To stop my cross posting, I've posted some suggestions on Mordel's...I presume if it works there it will work here.

It is on your machine's end. In theory, browsers should not cache pages written in php...but in practice, it happens all the time. The fix to Karagin's log in issue, and probably to yours, is the following:
Quote:
Log in, and presuming that is successful, close the browser window. Then come back and look if you're logged in...if not, reload the page using ctrl+f5 (not just f5  ), and see if you're logged in after that.

The fix worked here and at Mordel's, I have had to use it twice, but it worked each time so the issue is just one of those things computers do in their efforts to be helpful.

Thanks for that very useful information.
